The deal, in one paragraph
You order a signed paperback through the form on this site for $30. Brad signs it (and inscribes it if you asked him to), packs it, and ships it from Houston via USPS to your US address. PayPal handles the payment and collects your shipping details. If anything goes wrong, you email 1gotchabooks@gmail.com and Brad makes it right.
What you're buying
A new paperback copy of Gotcha Cold Case — the original English edition, signed by Brad on the title page. If you chose "Personalized" on the order form, Brad will write the name (and short message, if you supplied one) by hand before signing.
Price & payment
$30 USD per book, all-in. That covers the book, US shipping, and packaging. Payment is processed by PayPal and is required before the book ships. PayPal accepts credit and debit cards even if you don't have a PayPal account.
Shipping
US addresses only. Brad ships from Houston, Texas via USPS once payment clears — usually within a few business days. You'll get a tracking number emailed to the address you used on the order form.
If you need it for a specific date (gift, signing event, holiday), email Brad before you order and he'll tell you whether the timeline works.
International orders aren't available direct. Buy the paperback through Amazon worldwide or a local retailer.
Returns & refunds
Personalized copies — once Brad has signed your book with a specific name or message, it can't be returned or refunded. That signature is what makes it yours.
Just-Signed copies — if the book arrives and you've changed your mind, you can return it unopened within 14 days for a refund of the book cost. Return shipping is on you.
Damaged in transit — if USPS roughs up your book, send a photo to 1gotchabooks@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery and Brad will replace it at no charge.
Lost packages — if tracking shows your package as undelivered after the USPS-estimated date plus five days, email Brad and he'll help you file a claim and ship a replacement.
Bulk orders
If you want more than three copies (book club, gift, library, school), drop Brad a line first and he'll quote a discount. Don't put through multiple single-copy orders on the site.
Site use
You can read, share, and link to anything on this site freely. The book text, cover art, and Brad's photographs are copyrighted and not for republication without permission. Brief excerpts for review, journalism, or scholarship are fair use — no permission needed.
Limitation of liability
Brad and Gotcha Books are responsible for getting you the book you ordered. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the site or the book — meaning, no, you can't sue if reading a chapter at midnight kept you up for a third one. That's a feature, not a bug.
